† The Wind

Kanji for wind [reading fuu or kaze]
The wind is one of the four basic elements, fire, water earth and wind. Raphael is the guard of the wind and his power. Maybe it seems for some people so, but the wind isn't a weak element. It stroms water, spreads fire and rampages over the earth. It's properties are passion and impulse, because of it's neverending movement. Trouble, creativity and cogitation are with him. Happiness and carelessness, both like the wind - jaunty and free, but not always positive. Often reliable, because the wind is always there. He has an important role and you can not stop him. I would count him to one of the strongest things on earth.

In the Mikkyo-Buddhism the wind is one of the five elements [water, earth, fira, wind and space] which explain the exist of the world and are equal. In the Stupa it is always pictured in green and as a semicircle and from the bottom the forth element. It stands for wisdom and karma but also for the aerially matter in the world.

Raphael's wind isn't the 'same' wind like in the Buddhism, but I just wanted to show you this because the most Japanese are Buddhists.
