In the Bible Raphael helps Tobias to heal his father, to beat his fear of a big fish and to expel the demon Asmodi (or Asmodeus - that's why Raphael and Asmodeus don't like each other very much) from Sara. Tobias marries Sara after this and in the figurative sense they are just like Setsuna and Sara.
He is also the guardian angel for travelers. Raphael is always represented as a beautiful blond angel which radiates warmness and light. Raphael is the healer for all diseases, wheter they are mental or physical.
